History and Ethos

From Humble Beginnings

This isn’t a business plan. It’s a grassroots return to the medicine of the hive — built by hand, by one woman who fell in love with bees ten years ago and never looked back.

Emily is bonded to the bee on a cellular level. Not metaphorically — cellularly. Bee guardianship, natural tending, the ancient hive medicines our grandmothers’ grandmothers knew and we forgot: that’s the whole point of Embodybee.
It started with mythology and a spiritual pull toward bees, long before it was a business. Then came five years living and volunteering with Save the Bees Australia — every single hive a rescue, pulled from walls and roof cavities and structures slated for extermination, re-homed instead of destroyed. It was hands-on, unglamorous, life-changing work. It proved two things: that grassroots activism actually moves the needle, and that when people organise like bees — for each other, toward one goal — the results are undeniable.

Embodybee itself was born from the leftovers. Beeswax from the rescues, experimented with, refined, remade — and slowly, without much of a plan, a business.

From there: years spent working across different natural hive designs, deep-diving into Apitherapy — the practice of healing not just with hive products but with the hive itself, its elements, its energy. Emily’s taught her Introduction to Bee Guardianship for five years running. She moved to a rural, off-grid community and built a production space and apiary with a herbalist, in conditions as pristine as the products demanded. Recipes were refined. Techniques were perfected. Standards never dropped.

In 2025, Emily closed the business down — not out of failure, but intention. She took her daughter and travelled, sat with bee tenders around the world, and went deeper into Apitherapy than she’d ever gone. She’s bringing it all home in 2026: a handful of high-quality products first, then — piece by piece, with more magic and more intention than ever — the full apitherapy range returns.

Every ingredient is chosen for what it actually is: as organic, local, and sustainably sourced as it gets. And because Emily knows the bee industry’s dirty secrets better than most, every practice behind Embodybee is one she’d stand behind to the bees themselves.
Embodybee makes the highest-vibration, hand-made hive alchemy there is — for the people. An ancient remembering, brought into a modern life.

The Embodybee Vision

Emily is building a physical apothecary — a place you walk into for hive medicine, not just order online.

It’s in development now, and it’s not a small idea: a genuine Apitherapy practice, using not just the products of the hive but its elements. A bee-hive-bed for breathwork with real hive air. Beeswax hand-dipping. Facials that don’t just sit on the skin but work with it. This isn’t wellness-industry window dressing — it’s ancient medicine, built into a real space, for real people to walk into.
